If any items of property are damaged or missing the customer has a right to file a claim for compensation. Compensation for damaged or missing property will be based upon the coverage level selected by the customer. Full value protection / coverage is not automatic. On an interstate move (Long Distance Moves) a customer has nine (9) months from the date of delivery to file their claim for damaged or missing property.
